À La Carte
All Over Color is a single-process application from root to end — perfect for guests who want consistent color throughout without dimension. It's a clean, modern foundation that pairs beautifully with foils down the line.
All Over Color is the cleanest, most editorial option on the menu — one rich, saturated tone from root to tip. We use it for guests who want depth and shine over dimension, for going back to your natural color after years of highlighting, and for the dark, glossy looks that always trend in the cooler months.
Because we're not layering multiple formulas, the process is faster and the result is striking. The trade-off is that it requires steady upkeep to keep the line of regrowth from showing — we'll map out a cadence that works for your life before you commit.
Every all over color at Mill & Mane is performed by Lauren Noll and built on bond-protecting chemistry, careful sectioning, and the kind of unhurried pacing that most guests tell us they haven't experienced at a salon in years.
Mill & Mane sits in downtown Tipp City, Ohio, and a typical all over color guest is driving in from Troy, Vandalia, Huber Heights, or the north side of Dayton. We keep the chair count intentionally low so the attention stays on the head in front of us, not the schedule behind it.
You'll feel at home in this chair if you're going darker or richer for the season, even color with no dimension, and preparing a base for future foil work.
Why it matters ·Single-process color isn't ‘basic' — it's the foundation under most of the glossy, high-saturation looks people screenshot. Skipping it for dimension you don't actually want is the easiest way to over-spend on color.
“A single tone, done with intention, is one of the most undervalued looks in the salon.”
What a all over color looks like, start to finish.
Every appointment moves through the same considered sequence — never rushed, never templated. Here's how the time in the chair is actually spent.

We confirm depth, undertone, and longevity expectations.
Apply head-to-end

Every all over color at Mill & Mane includes color consultation, full-length application, bond protection, and cleanse, condition, and finish — all of it built into the price you see, not stacked as add-ons at checkout.
Keeping your all over color between visits.
To protect what we just did, we'll send you home with a quick routine: sulfate-free shampoo and weekly conditioning mask. None of it is complicated — most of it is about doing two or three things consistently instead of ten things sometimes.
Questions guests ask before booking a all over color.
- Can I lighten with this service?
- Slightly — significant lift needs a foil service like Full Highlight or Full Blonding. All Over Color can deepen or shift tone, but it can't safely bleach hair that starts darker.
- Will my ends grab too dark?
- Not with us. We process the ends separately or shorten the processing window there to keep the whole length reading even, not stacked.
- How long does it last?
- 6–8 weeks before regrowth becomes noticeable, longer for guests without significant gray. Tone fades gradually across that window.
- Can I go back to blonde after this?
- Yes, but plan for it. Coming back out of an all-over deposit takes at least one dimensional foil session and sometimes two.
