Package 3 is built for guests with thicker, denser, or blunt-cut natural hair who want true Hollywood-level thickness and length. Typically 3+ rows of hand-tied wefts, this is the install we use to transform hair that needs the most coverage and blending.

Package 3 is our most comprehensive install — built for dramatic length, full density, or both. It's also the package we use for hair that's been thinned by postpartum shedding, medical events, or years of over-processing where we're rebuilding density along the entire head.

More wefts mean more blending surface, which is what makes truly transformational looks read as natural instead of obvious. Three rows isn't ‘a lot' — it's the right number when the look you want demands real material to work with.

Every extensions — package 3 at Mill & Mane is performed by Lauren Noll and built on bond-protecting chemistry, careful sectioning, and the kind of unhurried pacing that most guests tell us they haven't experienced at a salon in years.

Extension guests travel to our Tipp City studio from across the Miami Valley — Troy, Piqua, Vandalia, Huber Heights, and greater Dayton — because a thoughtful install and ongoing maintenance plan is the difference between extensions that protect your hair and extensions that punish it. We keep the day's schedule light around extension appointments so nothing about the install gets hurried.

Why it matters ·Going bigger isn't about volume for its own sake — it's about giving us enough material to blend invisibly. Under-installing for the look you actually want is the most common reason extensions read as obvious.

Three rows can sound like ‘a lot' on paper. In practice it's almost always the right call for the references guests bring us — and under-installing is far more expensive than over-installing, because the second appointment isn't free.

Every appointment moves through the same considered sequence — never rushed, never templated. Here's how the time in the chair is actually spent.

To protect what we just did, we'll send you home with a quick routine: nightly braid, loop brush twice daily, extension-safe products only, and maintenance every 5–8 weeks. None of it is complicated — most of it is about doing two or three things consistently instead of ten things sometimes.

Will my head feel heavy?
There's an adjustment period of a few days as your neck gets used to the added weight. After that, most guests barely notice them. Sleeping in a loose braid the first week helps.
Is three rows the maximum?
For most guests, yes. In rare cases where the natural hair is exceptionally thick or blunt-cut, we may recommend a fourth row — but that's decided at consultation, never as an upsell on the install day.
How long does the install day take?
Plan for 4–6 hours from arrival to blowout. It's a long day, so eat before you come and bring headphones or a book — we don't rush installs to meet a next-client clock.
Can Package 3 be dialed back later?
Yes. If you decide two rows is enough at a future maintenance visit, we simply don't reinstall the third row. Most guests who go to Package 3 stay there, but the option is always yours.
Is blunt hair really that different to install?
It is. Blunt cuts have no natural taper, so the wefts have to be blended with careful haircutting rather than just placement. That extra cut work is included — it's not an add-on.
