Package 2 is the most popular extension service at Mill & Mane — typically 2 rows of hand-tied wefts to add real length and meaningful density. It's the right fit for most guests who want extensions to actually look like extensions: longer, fuller, and undeniably them.

Package 2 is for the guest who wants noticeable length and density — the install we recommend most often. More wefts mean fuller results, but also more attention to placement so the install stays comfortable and undetectable.

This is the package most guests are actually picturing when they say they want extensions. It's the install that delivers the obvious before-and-after without crossing into ‘too much for everyday life.' Comfortable enough to sleep in, secure enough to work out in, discreet enough that no one needs to know.

Every appointment moves through the same considered sequence — never rushed, never templated. Here's how the time in the chair is actually spent.

To protect what we just did, we'll send you home with a quick routine: loose braid at night, loop brush from ends to roots, sulfate-free, extension-safe products, and maintenance every 5–8 weeks. None of it is complicated — most of it is about doing two or three things consistently instead of ten things sometimes.

Can I work out in them?
Yes — braid the hair and rinse the scalp well after sweat. Salt and chlorine are the two things to be strategic about; wet the hair before you get in a pool so it absorbs less chlorine.
Can I color the extensions?
We can tone them, but lifting them is not recommended. The hair has already been processed to the tone we ordered, and lifting it further compromises longevity. Plan tone shifts before you order the hair, not after.
How much length can I actually add?
Package 2 typically adds 4–8 inches of real length. We'll walk through length options at consultation — the goal is a length that reads natural, not a length that reads like an install.
Is Package 2 right for most people?
Yes — it's the most-booked install at Mill & Mane. Two rows of hand-tied wefts adds meaningful length and density without needing the extra chair time of a three-row install.
What if my hair is too fine or too thin?
We assess density at the consultation. If your natural hair can't safely hold two rows, we'll recommend Package 1 or a plan to build density before installing.
How much does the hair itself cost inside the total?
For Package 2, the hair is typically 60–70% of the total investment. It's yours to keep and reuse across maintenance visits — usually 8–12 months of wear before replacement.
