Extensions Packages

Package 1 is the entry point into hand-tied extensions at Mill & Mane. It's designed for guests who love their current length but want noticeably more density — fuller ponytails, thicker ends, more body through the mid-lengths. Investment varies based on the number of rows and the hair you need.

Extensions Package 1 is built for guests adding length or fullness for the first time. We start with a full consultation — hand-tied vs. beaded, color match, lifestyle fit — and only move forward once we're both confident in the plan. Nothing about extensions should feel rushed or upsold.

The install itself is meticulous. Wefts are placed where they lay naturally with your hair growth, color-matched in person (not from a photo), and finished with a precision cut so the transition is invisible. You'll leave with hair that feels like yours — just more of it.

Every extensions — package 1 at Mill & Mane is performed by Lauren Noll and built on bond-protecting chemistry, careful sectioning, and the kind of unhurried pacing that most guests tell us they haven't experienced at a salon in years.

Extension guests travel to our Tipp City studio from across the Miami Valley — Troy, Piqua, Vandalia, Huber Heights, and greater Dayton — because a thoughtful install and ongoing maintenance plan is the difference between extensions that protect your hair and extensions that punish it. We keep the day's schedule light around extension appointments so nothing about the install gets hurried.

You'll feel at home in this chair if you're fine hair that needs density without length, filling in thinning areas around the part, and anyone who feels their ends are stringy or sparse.

Why it matters ·Most extension regret stories share the same root cause: rushed consultation, mismatched color, or wefts cut to a generic shape. We solve all three before scissors come near your hair.

If you've heard extension horror stories — uncomfortable installs, obvious wefts, hair you can't sleep on — those almost always trace back to one of three things: rushed consultation, wrong method for the hair type, or wrong color match. We slow down on all three. The consultation is the whole appointment.

Bad extensions are obvious. Good ones are invisible. The difference isn't the product — it's the placement.

What a extensions — package 1 looks like, start to finish.

Every appointment moves through the same considered sequence — never rushed, never templated. Here's how the time in the chair is actually spent.

  1. Consultation

We assess density, scalp, and color, then build a custom plan and quote.

  2. Order hair

Wefts are color-matched and ordered to arrive before your install date.

  3. Install

Hand-tied wefts are sewn onto a discreet beaded foundation — no glue, no tape.

  4. Cut and blend

We cut the extensions and your natural hair together for a seamless look.

Every extensions — package 1 at Mill & Mane includes consultation and color match, hair ordered specifically for you, install of 1 row hand-tied wefts (typical), custom cut and blend, and aftercare kit and education — all of it built into the price you see, not stacked as add-ons at checkout.

About the investment

Pricing reflects both the install and the hair itself. The hair is the largest portion of the cost and is yours to keep — most guests rotate the same hair through several maintenance cycles before replacing.

Keeping your extensions — package 1 between visits.

To protect what we just did, we'll send you home with a quick routine: sleep with hair in a loose braid, brush with a loop brush from ends to roots, maintenance every 5–8 weeks, and use only extension-safe products. None of it is complicated — most of it is about doing two or three things consistently instead of ten things sometimes.

Questions guests ask before booking a extensions — package 1.

How long does the hair last?
With good care, 8–12 months on average. Some guests get longer if they don't heat-style daily and stay diligent with the loop brush and nightly braid.
Will people see the wefts?
Not when installed correctly — the beaded foundation sits flat against the scalp and the wefts are hand-tied so they lie flatter than machine wefts ever could.
Is one row really enough?
For density-only guests, yes. Package 1 is designed to disappear into fine hair and add fullness without adding length. If you want length too, Package 2 is the right starting point.
Do they damage my natural hair?
Not when installed and maintained on schedule. There's no glue, no tape, and no heat. The install works with your natural hair rather than against it — and we'll never install on hair that isn't healthy enough to hold them.
What's the maintenance timeline?
Every 5–8 weeks for a Slide Up or Restitch as your foundation moves down with your natural growth. Skipping maintenance is the main cause of tension damage; we're strict about the cadence.
Where do your extension guests drive from?
Across the Miami Valley — Tipp City, Troy, Vandalia, Huber Heights, Piqua, Dayton, Kettering, Centerville, Beavercreek, Springboro, and out toward Springfield. Hand-tied installs done well are hard to find, so guests travel for them.
